TBS Bone Plug™ is a xenograft calcium phosphate-based material with a synthetic carbonate apatite structure that closely resembles natural bone. Its composition includes approximately 80% mineral combined with 20% Type I collagen derived from Achilles bovine tendon. The structural similarity between the TBS Bone Plug mineral and natural anorganic bone mineral allows it to mimic natural bone, as demonstrated by its in vivo resorption and remodeling profile.
