With an approximate user height range of 5’0″ to 6’2″ and a weight capacity of 280 lbs, the Evolv Large is designed for adults who need additional support, positioning, or assistance while achieving a standing position. Its thoughtful design combines stability, adjustability, transfer accessibility, and standing support in one comprehensive standing system.
One of the defining features of the EasyStand Evolv is its approach to positioning throughout the transition from sitting to standing. The frame’s pivot points are strategically aligned with the body’s natural pivot points. This design helps minimize unwanted movement and shear during the transition.
The Evolv is designed around a straightforward three-step standing process: adjust, transfer, and pump up. Once the user has been properly positioned, the standing mechanism assists with the transition from sitting into an upright standing position. The base configuration utilizes a manual hydraulic actuator that is easy to adjust up and down as needed.
